Stuff I’m Smiling About

My mother makes the best spaghetti sauce I have ever had in my life. No exceptions. I kind of want to grab a spoon and a jar, and not stop until I see the bottom, but that would likely be a bit excessive.

I finally convinced her to let me take a night shift with Dad. She didn’t get any more sleep than normal, but since she didn’t have to get up, she feels more rested than normal. So, we’re going to switch on and off every other night or so. I’m glad.

I love Cheese Nips. And I bought some. I am not likely to share. Comfort eating seems to be the rule here, though I know I shouldn’t. I haven’t been able to run AT ALL, or do anything resembling a workout for myself. I have, however, been taking my vitamins and supplements, and that helps a lot.

I burned a batch of leftover soup about five days ago. Ruined the pan. I have tried every trick in the book to fix it, but alas! To no avail. So, off to Wal-Mart I went, to procure a new pot for Mom. I felt like a little free bird. I haven’t left the house all week. Literally.

The kiddos are with Granny & Grandad for the weekend, and I need to stop typing, take my vitamins, and get to work on their Christmas pajamas.

We keep accumulating brownies. This will get me in trouble.

I love the way people love on each other by feeding each other. I swear, it’s food that is the Great Bringer-Together-of-People.

Jen actually joked the other night that we should have a family crisis more often, because everything people have brought us is so delicious!

Too funny.

There is always something to smile about here. Always.

And I love that.

Grace & Peace,
Tiffany
